Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at FCC Kissimmee today, Great worship and great teaching from J.B.
  • The focus of the message was thought provoking as we considered what really matters in this life.
  • Are you living for what is under the sun or are you living for the Son?
  • When it is all said and done remember the words of Ecclesiastes 12:13 for this is the lesson of Solomon.
  • As of this week I have visited 110 churches in the state of Florida, God is doing some amazing things in the church.
  • What would you do for God if you knew you could not fail?
  • The recent complaints about FACEBOOK reminds me once again people do not accept change well.
  • Building the kingdom of God is hard work, it takes perseverance and conviction, it is not for the faint of heart.
  • I wonder what keeps some churches from reaching their potential in God's kingdom, I bet it is the same thing that keeps individual believers from reaching their potential as well.
  • Something to Chew on;  "A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go, but ought to be." Rosalynn Carter

Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts From an Amazing Day...

  • Worship was truly inspiring today at FCC Kissimmee.
  • We continued our study from Ecclesiastics today, wisdom for the ages!
  • Question what is your passion?  Answer the thing you are chasing after is your passion. I hope you are chasing after God.
  • The service tonight was both sacred and poignant, thanks to a great worship team.
  • One of the most powerful moments to me was the number of churches that have been planted in NY since 9/11. Genesis 50:20 is very appropriate in light of the disaster 10 years ago.
  • The last 6 months have been one of the greatest growth experiences for me; both personally as well as professionally.
  • Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better return returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing can compare to her. Proverbs 3:13-15
  • I am looking forward to this weekend's Elder's retreat at Florida Christian College. Over 80 men are coming together to learn how to be a better elder.
  • Glad football is back!
  • Something to chew on; The greatest day in your life and mine is when we take total responsibility for our attitudes. That's the day we truly grow up. ~ John C. Maxwell

Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts From an Amazing Day...

  • Great day of worship at FCC/Kissimmee
  • Jim's new series looked at the book of Ecclesiastes
  • What an amazing book, written almost 3,000 years ago and very applicable to our lives today.
  • What are you chasing today?
  • Derrick's video reminded us a lot of things we chase are simply worthless.
  • Florida Christian College set a record enrollment this year.
  • Speaking of Florida Christian College, you need to check out the Elders/Leadership Conference coming up in less than 2 weeks.
  • I am convinced leadership is an essential element to a healthy organization.
  • I like evening worship, it really sets the pace for the week.
  • Something to Chew on; Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character give him power. ~ Abraham Lincoln
