- Preached at Plymouth Ave, Christian Church in Deland this morning.
- Today's massage focus on the importance of Palm Sunday.
- Palm Sunday gives assurance to the believer and answers to the skeptics about the messiah-ship of the Jesus.
- When one consider the prophecies of the Old Testament and the work of Jesus how can anyone be confused about the identity of Jesus?
- Here is my conclusion from today's message - He (Jesus) is the only hope of the world, outside of him there is only darkness, He is our only hope and one day society will run out of options and finally recognize that the one that it thought was the source of all its pain and suffering through the years actually its only hope. He is the beginning and the end, the all in all. I cannot imagine existence without him. I cannot imagine truth outside of him, He is the ultimate expression of God in human form, and that is why we spend our life in total allegiance to him.
- This pretty much sums it up.
- It has been 5 years since I preached on an Easter Sunday and I still miss it!
- I think I am figuring out worship is not about the song but about the heart!
- Great lunch with the leadership team at PACC today - who knew there was an airport in Deland?
- The final four is set, now I can fill out my bracket with great accuracy!
- Are you disturbed by all the political messages and fear mongering on FACEBOOK - remember church our hope is not in a government system.
- Does anyone receive anything important in the mail these days?
- Commencement is less than 40 days away.
- .79 cent Big Gulps - Summer has arrived!

- Preached this morning at Plymouth Avenue Christian Church in Deland.
- By the way is it Deland or DeLand?
- Key question from today's message; would Peter and Paul, leaders of the 1st century church recognize the 21st century church today? Do our churches look like the church in the Book of Acts? If not why not?
- March madness is always a time of high drama one weekend down and only 16 teams remain!
- Spring Break is over at JUFL and there are 40 days left until graduation, Students, Stay calm and finish strong

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Commitment Sunday at FCC Kissimmee today, so exciting to watch people bring their commitments and offering to the front of the auditorium this morning.
- Hoping for a transformed community through what happened today!
- Attended the Annual Men's Retreat at Lake Aurora Christian Camp this past weekend, my first impression upon arriving on the camp property was how much has changed over the last few years. So grateful for the leadership at the camp - Vision makes a difference.
- Arron Chambers did a wonderful job challenging the men to literally "Man Up"
- Arron was not afraid to step on toes and get real with the men at the retreat - obviously he learned that skill from his dad.
- When I looked over the crowd of 225 + men I was inspired by the number of Alumni of JUFL making a difference in churches around the state of Florida - May the Zeal Never Cease!
- I wonder if the the founders of the college knew just how much God would bless their efforts - Vision matters!
- Daylight Savings Time - longer days, better weather, Spring is here!
- Had a great visit with a really good friend while at the retreat, so good to have some time to talk about life - thanks Dave!
- If you have not heard JUFL made a fantastic announcement last Monday morning, you can read about it here.
- Spring Training Games across the street from JUFL, hard to stay at the office during this time of the year!
- March Madness is just around the corner! Can Kentucky go all the way?

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Wonderful day of worship at FCC Kissimmee today.
- Jim continued his series on Transformed, great challenge from God's word.
- Key thought - we all have a Sanballet in our life, and we have to deal with them!
- Amazed by the generosity of the leaders of FCC Kissimmee, they are diffidently leading out front!
- I heard from FCC of Sun City Center (i preached at their revival last week) this week regarding their revival - they had an offering goal of $1,000 for a battered women's shelter - they raised $4,500. God's people are generous!
- Spent the weekend working on our family's taxes - after crunching all the numbers, I am leaning toward a flat tax system.
- I am so thankful to be a part of a small group, we meet each Friday evening, and I really look forward to meeting each week - Thank you Doyle and Diane for being such gracious hosts!
- This week there has been a few comments about CFBC on FACEBOOK that remind me how special that time was in the lives of many of my friends.
- Time to Spring forward next week, looking forward to longer daylight!
- Shocked at how much a minor auto repair can be today! YIKES
- With all the bad weather up north this past winter, I wonder if Florida will have a record breaking spring break season?
- Has there ever been so much talk about the color of a dress as there was this week - Really does it matter?
- Something to Chew on: Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money is can be caught, but they need your hearts to love them, so spread your love where =ever you go. ~ Mother Teresa
