Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped with the church family at FCC Kissimmee today! Wonderful message about the importance of men in the church.
  • Jim's passion and commitment really came out as he preached this morning. Probably one of the most politically incorrect messages I have heard in a long time - but it was one of the best Biblical correct messages I have heard!
  • Kathy had  her last cancer treatment Thursday, it has truly been a long road! However, she is one of the strongest ladies I know.
  • Had a great visit with friends from Ohio this past week - ministry friendships are wonderful. So Blessed!
  • Next time you are overwhelmed by the day's newscasts remember this Psalm
  • This Friday evening is graduation at JUFL - another great group of students are leaving the campus and begin extending the kingdom!
  • Watching the kids in my former youth ministries children now go to prom reminds me life passes quickly.
  • I love seeing the baptismal waters stir!
  • Grandchildren make me smile!
  • The last two Sunday evenings I have been treated to some great music by our choir and choral society, wonderful music.
  • Home improvement TV shows are so inspiring.
  • 4 months down 8 months to go! Remember to number your days.
  • Something to Chew on; Waste no more time arguing about what a good man should be. Be one! ~ Marcus Aurelius

Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at FCC Kissimmee today, great message on the identity of the church.
  • There is a  great misconception when we say we are going to church.
  • Churches who risk make the greatest impact for the kingdom.
  • Jim, the zipper illustration was interesting to say the least!
  • Great guest speaker at Timothy Club last week - Thanks Ross for giving us a fresh perspective on ministry. CCCC is fortunate to have you as their leader.
  • A good friend is wrapping up a ministry in Ohio today, praying for his new ministry, These are exciting times for him and his family.
  • Small Groups are essential for close fellowship in a large church.
  • Grandchildren have a lot of energy!
  • Grandparents do not!
  • Spring Game in Gainesville yesterday - Fall is getting closer!
  • Speaking of Spring  - where did it go, summer is here!
  • Something to Chew on; A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. ~ Winston Churchhill

Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Wonderful day of worship at FCC Kissimmee this morning.
  • Worship was inspiring and the message was challenging.
  • Is there a better word than REDEEMED!
  • Great illustration regarding a piano Jim - truly drove the point home.
  • Loved reading about the many "victories" this weekend on Facebook - sounds like it was a great day for the good guys.
  • I still miss preaching on Easter Sunday!
  • Before today, Our family attended a very moving Good Friday service at River Run CC in Melbourne. Will we ever realize the price that was paid to wash away our sins?
  • Once again we were reminded on Saturday evening it is tough to go undefeated and win a national championship.
  • For me the best part of March Madness this year will be the "One Shining Moment" montage!
  • Students picked up cap and gowns this past week at JUFL, it is getting close.
  • Does anyone remember when the Reds always kicked off the major league season?
  • The 10 Commandments, A.D. and Killing Jesus. Looks like Hollywood was trying to show their spiritual side tonight.
  • I know I live in the third populous state - just look at the traffic!
  • Went to Walmart today - I know it was a madhouse - hoping to get a chocolate bunny at half price - No bunnies, but a lot of people.
  • Something to Chew on;  Jesus' Resurrection is the beginning of God's new project not to snatch people away from earth to heaven, but to colonize earth with the life of heaven. ~ N.T Wirght
