A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- It was Two-fer Sunday today as we worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning and then traveled to Poinciana Christian Church this evening to hear the JUFL Choir and Choral Society.
- Jim's message from Hebrews 10 regarding instant access was inspiring. To think that we no longer need the blood of animals to roll back our sins nor do we wait for a high priest to intercede for us is a great comfort.
- I am going to do "a deep dive" into the book of Hebrews this summer. I am looking forward to the study.
- We are blessed to have Dirk and Ruth lead the choir and choral society. None better!
- Another Imagine Banquet is in the books, thanks to our generous friends we were able to add more scholarship funds for our students.
- Great dinner with our Life Group Friday night. We are taking a 2-month hiatus before we resume in July.
- Well, this is it, graduation at JUFL is Friday. Another 34 alumni will be added to our number.
- Do you remember your college graduation?
- Another friend of mine has lost her battle with cancer this week. I am so glad there will be a day when ALL our tears will be wiped away.
- Watching the NFL draft is a reminder 2023 Football season is getting closer.
- The traffic in Kissimmee is bad enough to make a preacher curse!
- Something to Chew on; Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power. ~ Abraham Lincoln
