Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • We worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • Jim concluded his series on Glory Days from the book of Joshua.
  • When a preacher shares the Word that is expected, when the preacher shares his heart you see his love for people. Thank you Jim for being transparent this morning.
  • Watching the Olympics  is a reminder of how 1 second makes all the difference in the competition.
  • Speaking of the Olympics, why do we expect unbelievers to act differently.
  • I was hoping all I would bring back from Alaska were memories, souvenirs and pictures. However by Tuesday I discovered I brought back a serious cold!  Yeck!
  • Working remotely is getting  more comfortable, however I miss the companionship of an office environment.
  • 34 Days, are you ready.
  • We still have White Chocolate Oreos in the freezer from last year. We have limited ourselves to one box a month. #worththewait

Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an AMAZING Week!

  • We attended Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • Jim's message was from the book of Joshua. Great message on the need live for the Glory of God!
  • So fortunate to be a part of a thriving church family.
  • We spent last week in Alaska.
  • It is amazing to see our God's creation. Alaska is amazing.
  • We saw a Moose!
  • We did not see a Bear.
  • BTW, it never got above 58 all week. Good Times!
  • The #1 question asked all week, What time is it? Crazy time zones did a number on my sleep habits.
  • The Microsoft Glitch Friday impacted our cruise. Sleeping on the airport floor is not restful.
  • Though it was a wonderful trip, Dorothy said it best, Thre is no place like home!
  • Because of the Glitch, I missed the funeral of a lovely woman, Paula is now in the arms of Jesus, hearing the words, Well Done Good and Faithful servant!
  • Something to Chrw on; There will be a Day ~ Jeremy Camp (if you know, you know)

Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • We worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • Jim preached on the power of blood as it relates to our redemption this morning.
  • The image of EVERYONE bringing a lamb to the temple EVERY year is a sobering thought of how costly is our redemption.
  • Today's message helped me recall the old hymn; "Nothing but the Blood of Jesus"
  • "O precious is the flow, that makes me white as snow, no other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus."
  • Our trip to Alaska is getting close!
  • I think the Hallmark Channel created Christmas in July! Just sayin'
  • Working at home is different! When your administrative assistant is your pet Chihuahua, you know things have changed.
  • Lily is having some difficulty working the copier, And she is demanding a raise!
  • We had lunch with a dear friend Wednesday, Good Times.
  • I am blessed with such good friends!
  • Something to Chew on; Life is a series of experiences, each one of which makes us bigger, even though sometimes it is hard to realize this. ~ Henry Ford
