Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • We worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • We witnessed the Baptismal Waters stir once again. It is alway great to see baptisms, but Resurrection Sunday, made the baptisms special!
  • Heath did a wonderful job bringing a message from John 14, He is right, Death does not care who you are, when death comes it is over!
  • But thanks be to God there is one who changed everything. Yes, death is defeated!
  • Singing "All Hail King Jesus" this morning was very moving. Can you imagine every tongue, tribe and nations singing that hymn when we see Jesus face to face.
  • We had the Big G's celebration of life service last week. Few men have made a difference in my life like Grady.
  • Grady lived 95 plus years, so thankful my kids were able to enjoy time with their grandfather.
  • We returned Saturday from our seven day cruise vacation. Good Times.
  • I always wonder how do they make those towel animals, only cruisers understand!
  • I have new glasses, what a difference in my vision. Yep, for the 4th year in a row, I had a new eyeglass prescription. #gettingoldereveryday.
  • Something to Chew on; I know the resurrection is a fact and Watergate proved it to me. Twelve men testified they had seen Jesus raised from the dead. Then they proclaimed that truth for 40 years, never once denying it. Every one was beaten, tortured, stoneded, and put in prison. They would not have endured such abuse if it were not true. Watergate involved 12 of the most powerful men in the world and they could not keep the lie for 3 weeks. ~ Chuck Colson

Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • We worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning..
  • Heath began a new series from John 14:6.
  • Today's message focused on God making a way!
  • Key Point, In the Old Testament, God made a way, at the cross, God made a way and today, God continues to make a way!
  • Thank you Heath and Tony for helping us experience communion in a different way this morning.
  • Our Life Group wrapped up our 9 week study in Colossians Friday evening.
  • Key Lesson from this small book; JESUS IS ENOUGH!
  • Now there are 2!
  • Will we have our one shining moment tomorrow evening? I hope so!
  • The house is always quiet when the grandkids leave. I miss the noise!
  • Something to Chew On; The young man knows the rules, the old man knows the exceptions. ~ Oliver Wendall Holmes, Sr.
