Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • It was a two-fer day! We worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning and attended the Grand Opening of the new addition of Fairway Christian Church this evening.
  • Celebrated the baptisms of 4 people this morning, this never gets old.
  • Shawn continued his series from the book of Acts this morning, focusing on the 6th Chapter.
  • Key Point, Sometimes the most God honoring this you can do is say NO!
  • Another key point; Distraction kills excellence.
  • Also another key point; Remember, every person has three items; Purpose, Mission and an Assignment.
  • Your purpose never changes, your mission may change and your assignment constantly changes as you grow in Christ.
  • I guess you can say I got several take-aways this morning.
  • Tonight it was good to see what God is doing through Fairway Christian Church.
  • Butch's prayer of dedication reminded the people the building is simply a tool, the church is tool for reaching people for Christ. Amen!
  • It was a blessing to see what God is doing across the state of Florida.
  • Something to Chew on; There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind. ~ C.S. Lewis

Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • We worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • Nathan did a wonderful job bringing us a message from 1 Peter 1. Focusing on Holiness and Love.
  • Key Point, Holiness and Love are the keys to discipleship.
  • Our Life Group is focusing on the Mountains and Valleys found in Scripture. This week's lesson focused on Elijah and Mount Carmel, the mountain of decision.
  • Elijah's question to Israel is appropriate for our culture, How long will you waver between two opinions?
  • If you know me, you know I enjoy football, but this weekend it was difficult watching the gators and dolphins.
  • We opened the last box of White Chocolate Oreos last night, I needed the cookies as a stress reliever! #comfortfood
  • Fall is hear! Please No Pumpkin Spice Oreos!
  • Christmas trees are up at Walmart!
  • Something to Chew on; The effective prayer of a righteous person has great power. ~ James 5:16

Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • We worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • Shawn did an excellent job with a message from the Parable of the Good Samaritan.
  • Question; Who is your neighbor?
  • The Answer may surprise you.
  • After a two week hiatus, it good to reflect again.
  • I attended 3 minister's meeting this past week, there are a lot of good things happening around the State of Florida regarding church planting!
  • We have spent the last two weeks in Michigan on Vacation. We spent time with the grandkids, Picking apples, visiting museums and parks and enjoying a taste of Fall. Good Times!
  • Before we left on vacation, we said Good Bye to our pet Chihuahua, Lily. She gave us 15+ years of joy.
  •  I miss my morning and evening walks with Lily, I did not realize how much I would miss her until she passed.
  • We are living out 2 Timothy 3, and al I can say is Come Jesus Come.
  • Something to Chew on; Ask yourself this question; Will my life be better if I fasted from Social Media for a month? Something to Consider!
