Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • I preached at Union Park Christian Church in Orlando this morning.
  • The message was from Philippians 1:3-25
  • Main Focus of the message, be aware of what can happen when we lose our joy!
  • The difference between happiness and joy is happiness is always fading, but Joy, God's joy is permanent.
  • So good to have a visit with my Old Testament professor this morning. I wonder if he realizes the role he played in encouraging me to attend Central FL Bible College.
  • Today's trip was only a 40 minute drive; Hallelujah!
  • Shared lunch with some long time friends today, so blessed.
  • Who were those guys in the dolphin uniforms this afternoon?
  • I have an uncle and aunt moving to Texas this week, after 40 years of living in FL they are making a BIG move. I am going to miss them.
  • Something to Chew on; Sometimes, God brings times of transition to create transformation. Lynn Cowell
