Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • I preached at Citrus Ridge Church this morning.
  • The focus of the message was on a Biblical response to problems.
  •  When we are faced with a problem, remember we have a God who is with us and church community who stands by us.
  • What do people do when they face a problem and they are not connected to a community of believers?
  • We made it back to Kissimmee to hear Richard bring the message at Kissimmee Christian Church
  • His message focused on 3 simple statements that will transform your life from 1 Thessalonians 5.
  • Great Message!
  • Thursday we made a quick trip to Jacksonville to celebrate Thanksgiving.
  • Question; Is it called Stuffing or Dressing?
  • Thirty members of our family gathered at my brother's home.
  • No kids table this year, just one very loooong table!
  • Lori was the hero as she provided Mash Potatoes, Stuffing and Cranberry Salad.
  • Is it just me or did November go by fast?
  • The College Football regular season is over, at least we went out with a win!
  • Something to Chew on; Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. ~ Paul in1 Thessalonians 5:18

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • I preached at Citrus Ridge Church this morning in Davenport.
  • A wonderful group of believers full of joy and anticipation!
  • Today's message focused on Ephesians 5:15-20 and how to make the best of every opportunity.
  • Key Point; To make the best of every opportunity, one must focus on eternity.
  • I was able to hear Shawn preach this morning as well on the subject of "Rest"
  • The message was a great reminder of the love God has for his children.

Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • We worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • Shawn wrapped up his messages from the first 10 chapters of Acts.
  • Today's focus; everyone is welcome here!
  • This is a message everyone needs to hear.
  • If people really understood you are welcome at church it would change their life for eternity.
  • If church members really understood everyone is welcome, it would change their view of who to invite to worship.
  • Yes, every week, Eternity is in the balance.
  • I have enjoyed my streaming  for watching TV. That is until my streaming service removed ABC and ESPN networks, which means no SEC football - Not Cool!
  • 5:45 and it is is dark!
  • Why does it feel like it is 9:00?
  • Just in case you are wondering, it was a catch!
  • Something to Chew on; It is in moments of decision that your destiny is shaped. ~ Tony Robbins
