A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day.

• I finished my time preaching at Citrus Ridge Church this morning.
• I will miss worshipping with the group of believers 
• Today's message focused on the Compassion of Christ.
• While it is good to show compassion physically, the most compassionate thing you can do is introduce someone to Jesus.
• We made it back to Kissimmee Christian Church where Heath brought a message from the book of Colossians and the supremacy of Christ.
• We witnessed the baptismal waters stir once again.
• Celebrated Christmas with the kids today. 
• The house always seems really quiet once they leave.
• Best Christmas gift this year? Having all my kids at home today!
• Something to Chew on; Joy to the world, the Lord has come!

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day... 

• I finished up my sermon series, "He shall be called from Isiah 9:6-7 this morning at Citrus Ridge Church.
• Today's message; Everlasting Father.
• Since Jesus is called the Everlasting Father, how should we then live? We are to Rest in His care, Take on the attributes of His Fatherly Love, and Trust in His faithfulness.
• We had a great time with our Life Group Wednesday Evening, great friendships and good pie, who could ask for anything more?
• New QB same results, well March Madness is only 3 months away. 
• No White Christmas for us this year, well if you count the color white of the sunscreen I am applying this week, I guess it will be a white Christmas after all. 
• Christmas Favorites part 2; Favorite Christmas Gift as a child, my Daisy BB Gun, no I did not shoot my eye out! yes I still have the BB Gun.Favorite Dessert; Red Velvet Cake, Favorite Christmas Song; O Holy Night.
• Something to Chew on; Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly Merry Christmas ~ Unknown

 A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

• I preached at Citrus Ridge Church in Davenport this morning.
• Today's message was from Isaiah 9:6, He shall be called Mighty God.
• The focus of the message dealt with the supremacy of Jesus 
• Key Point #1, Since Jesus is the Mighty God, we can rest in knowing He can  handle our hurts.
• Key Point #2, Only a Mighty God could handle our sin problem, thus Jesus is the Mighty God.
• It was Two-fer Sunday as we attended Kissimmee Christian Church as well this morning.
• Thank you Tony for tonight's Sounds of Christmas, yes, it was a preview of heaven.
• Christmas shopping almost done and I have not visited store yet. BTW, the UPS guy and I are developing a real friendship. 
• Christmas favorites; Movie - It is a Wonderful Life, Elf is a close second. Best Christmas Snack - Chex Mix, TV - A Charlie Brown Christmas.
• Something to Chew on; Christmas is not as much about opening our presents as it is about opening our heart. ~ Janice Maeditere

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

• I preached at Citrus Ridge Church this morning.
• We kicked off the Christmas season with a message from Isaiah 9, titled "He shall be called... Wonderful Counselor." 
• Jesus is a wonderful counselor because of his relationship with us. 
• In his relationship with us he knows our scars and he knows our joys. 
• We also worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning as Shawn focussed on Mary and her role as a servant of God.
• The Heart for the Arts project is very meaningful.
• The announced Atrium changes look great.
• Our life group wrapped up our series, "The Marks of a Disciple" This three week study looked at Gratitude, Generosity, and Community as Marks of a Christ Follower.
• Saturday my family met in Jacksonville for our Family Christmas Party. Good Times.
• It was great to share the legacy our family has in providing scholarships for college.
• It is interesting watching college coaches plead their case for the CFP.
• White Chocolate Oreos are back! Just in time, we ran out of our stock in October.
