A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Heard a great sermon on giving this morning at FCC Kissimmee.
- Giving is not necessarily money it also includes the giving of oneself.
- Mediate on these verses for a while; Psalm 62:11,12 ~ One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, O God, are strong, and that you, O Lord, are loving. Surely you will reward each person according to what he has done.
- It was really thrilling to see the impact of a church that gives $100,000 to missions every year.
- Glad to be a church that never responds with "let us walk preacher, let us walk!"
- I heard about an amazing dog today - he was a super mutt!
- God's providence is absolutely amazing.
- Cancer is so limited, it cannot corrode faith, shatter hope, kill friendships, cripple love, destroy peace, silence courage, suppress memories or conquer the spirit. It can only end our physical life.
- My friend Dave is facing some pretty extreme life changes over the next 9 months, however I am amazed at his faith and outlook.
- There is nothing like sharing a meal with good friends to realize how blessed you truly are in this life.
- I am so thankful for the opportunity to begin anew every day!
- Something to Chew on; The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers. ~ by Ralph Nadar
