Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Preached at Okeechobee Today on the parable of the Wheat and the Tares.
  • Asked an important questions this morning; Is the world we are living in getting better of worse? Answer: Yes!
  • Better - the gospel continues to make inroads in the world, Worse, man continues to rebel against God and His good and pleasing will.
  • I am amazed by the places the class of 2013 from FCC are planning to go after graduation; this is truly a special group of graduates.
  • Greatest takeaway from commencement Friday evening; the school song is treasured by alums as well as students. Thank you Fred and Doc Smith.
  • Commencement message was both inspiring as well as challenging, Thank you Alex, Brad and Jordan.
  • Bill Behrman's gracious spirit will be missed at FCC.
  • Big week for our advance team this week, we are excited!
  • Watching the Kentucky Derby Saturday, I could not help but think how fortunes can change in just 2 minutes. Also leading at the halfway point does not assure one of victory.
  • Something to Chew on; Seldom does growth come to a church, an organization or an individual without some type of change.
