Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at FCC Kissimmee today, so good to have a "home" church.
  • Great message on the topic of worry.
  • A great perspective is the key to handling the "SIN" of worry - yes, worry is a sin.
  • Truly reflected this week - it was 25 years ago this week I closed out a ministry in Indiana, I still think about those kids! However they are not kids any longer, so proud of what so many are doing today!
  • Friday night's thunderstorm in Kissimmee was a reminder real power is not in Washington, but in heaven!
  • People think it is strange that you can lose a game of soccer and still move forward, but that is not unusual, Jesus said it you lose your life for His sake - you will win!
  • After 203,000 miles and 12 years as the family car our golden chariot finally gave up the ghost. Goodbye old friend, you were a faithful companion!
  • Looking forward to seeing some really good friends next week.
  • Lots of cosmetic changes happening at Johnson University Florida this summer - I think the students will be impressed.
  • Who knew "Slurpees" was the cure for nausea cased by Chemo?
  • Summer is here - Hot, Hot. Hot!
  • 6 Months down 6 months to go until it is 2015 - was Y2K really that important?
  • Hey Keith and Libby - I hope you a wonderful ministry experience in Georgia.
  • Something to Chew on; “Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.” ~ Corrie ten Boom
