Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing day.

  • Two opportunities to worship this weekend; first attended worship at Journey Christian is Apopka. Great message on  a very difficult topic; the Wrath of God. Second opportunity was at Union Park Christian Church, Orlando, another great message on the the need to develop godly men.
  • Two churches, two worship styles, two types of buildings, one God glorified!
  • Saw the baptismal waters stir once again,
  • This was a very emotional week for me. Kathy's birthday was Thursday, oh how I miss her.
  • Said good bye to an aging minister this week, he donated his library to the university and to young preachers, he and his wife will be missed in Florida.
  • Ministry transitions can be tough, several friends are closing out or beginning new ministries this week, praying for their transitions!
  • Attended the funeral of veteran today, there is no more haunting tune than TAPS!
  • When the America flag was presented to the family the former solder said this flag is given from a grateful nation, I hope we are all grateful for the sacrifices of our military.
  • Today's events once again is a reminder how fragile is life on earth.
  • These verses comforts me more and more.
  • Are the basketball playoff still going on?
  • #1 lesson one learns from attending a men's prayer breakfast; men love bacon, I think they believe bacon is a food group all by itself.
  • We are only 18 days until July, that means 2016 is almost half over BTW what happen to Y2K.
  • It is that time of the year again, high humidity + cold A/C in the car leads to foggy eyeglasses when get out of your car.
  • Something to Chew on; He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God in Him I will trust. ~ Psalm 91:1-2
