Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Finished preaching at Fort Caroline Christian Church this morning.
  • During my 8 weeks, I witnessed 3 baptisms and one transfer, God is doing some things at FCCC.
  • Today's topic "How to have a genuine faith" from the book of James.
  • Faith goes beyond head knowledge, there must be a matter of the heart that moves one to action.
  • Too many people know about faith, but few walk by faith! THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!
  • The people of FCCC are so gracious. I will miss this group of people, praying they find the right man to lead them to the next level.
  • Wonderful week of Missions Emphasis at JUFL, many seeds planted, now we get to see what God does next.
  • Attended a wonderful gathering at Mandarin Church of Christ in Jacksonville Saturday evening, it was so exciting to hear and see them prepare for a mission trip to Jamaica.
  • Love hanging out with my small group, doing life together.
  • Did you know there are 90 days until Christmas?
  • Hey Gators you gotta play 4 quarters!
  • I continue to be amazed by the grief counselors at Hospice.
  • Looks like I may have a new must see TV program, Designated Survivor - off to a great start.
  • One of the best things about my job is watching people make contributions to extend the Kingdom of God, I am humbled by their generosity.
  • Something to Chew on; To the one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To the one without faith, no explanation is possible. ~ Thomas Aquinas
