A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • Great time watching our student ministry lead the worship time today.
  • I do not know about you, but it is extremely comforting to know we are a new creation; IN CHRIST!
  • Jim's message highlighting what God is doing through the people of KCC was very inspiring.
  • My travel break is over, starting next week, I am back on the road representing JUFL. Next stop; FCC Pompano Beach!
  • I preached or represented JUFL 31 Sundays in 2017.
  • Wonder what churches I will visit in 2018?
  • #1 item I discovered during my travels around the state is the diversity of our churches.
  • The NFL regular season wrapped up today. Will the Dolphins ever be relevant again?
  • The bowl season really gets interesting starting tomorrow!
  • Going to the theater is always an enjoyable experience.
  • I am leading an adult Bible study at KCC this winter, looking forward to teaching again.
  • Lots of construction happening at JUFL this semester, can't wait to see all the projects completed.

Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • Watched the baptismal waters stir once again, can you think of a better gift to receive at Christmas than the gift of eternal life!
  • Tonight I attended the Christmas Eve service at River Run Christian Church in Melbourne.
  • Little Savannah did a wonderful job in the role as Carrie Ingalls! A star is born; Well I could be a little prejudice!
  • I always find this song so haunting, but this version is unique and was part of the worship service tonight.
  • Do you remember when all stores closed at 6:00 pm on Christmas Eve?
  • In 8 days we will begin a new year, what resolutions will you make in the New Year?
  • Found out this week, one of our Christmas guests is bringing Peanut Butter Fudge to our Christmas dinner - there goes the diet. Can break a new year resolution before the new year begins?
  • Something to Chew on; My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: love others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that? ~ Bob Hope

Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • One of the best Christmas messages I have heard in a long time.
  • Jim's series, "Jesus the Gift that keeps on Taking" has been a great series of messages and looked at the Christmas season in a different way.
  • Key thought from the message; through Christ, we are adopted into God's family as sons. Let that thought sink in a little bit.
  • I do miss preaching during the Christmas season.
  • Attended a wonderful wedding today, congratulations Devon and Amber, your wedding was beautiful.
  • I am so thankful for the friends God brings in to my life.
  • I know I am old school, but I can watch, "It's a Wonderful Life" every Christmas. Jimmy Stewart is a national treasure.
  • Turned 59 today, hard to imagine that the next birthday is number 60, time goes by so fast, don't blink.
  • The College Football Bowl season is upon us, it really is the most wonderful time of the year.
  • Christmas is only 7 days away, now is the time Christmas shopping gets really fun!
  • My Birthday dinner was very nice Friday, good food and good company.
  • Something to Chew on; He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under the tree. ~ Roy L. Smith
