- Preached at First Christian Church of Arcadia this morning.
- The message focused on my favorite topic; Grace.
- Key thought #1 today, we live in a world that no longer desires truth, but so desperately needs grace!
- Key thought #2, because of God's grace, we are compelled to live faithfully in an unfaithful world.
- I had lunch with some very good friends today, loved spending time with them.
- I loved the gifts they brought me, cookies, bread and a special gift, a drinking cup shaped like a football. Too Funny!
- The students are back! Let the teaching begin.
- Why does the freshmen class look so young this year?
- Has it really been 42 years since I was a freshman?
- Over the next couple of months, a couple of ministers in Florida are retiring from fruitful ministries. Well done men!
- College football is back, hey gators, how about closing down your opponent early in the 4th quarter, last night was too close for comfort.
- To all my teacher friends, you really are making a difference!
- Churches that lift teachers up in prayer understand the influence a teacher has on our culture.
- Something to Chew on; My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. ~ God 2 Corinthians 12:9

Sunday Night Reflections
A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
- Message on living a fearless life.
- Living fearlessly gives me the confidence to serve, love and face eternity.
- The testimony during the message was very inspiring, yes we all have a responsibility to live out Christ in this hurting world.
- I had lunch with some wonderful people this afternoon.
- Some people are just easy to talk to even when you barely know them.
- Once again we were reminded this week life is fragile and there is a hurting person in every worship service.
- From last week's Bible Study; Our faith is developed when we passionately and deliberately seek God's will for our life.
- The freshmen class arrives on campus this Friday. They don't realize how their lives are going to change over the next 4 years.
- I accidentally erased some important information from my computer last week, However, our IT Department was able to retrieve the information, so I am officially calling Monday Hug your IT Team Day!
- My word for the week; BACK UP YOUR FILES!
- I have noticed my house is VERY quiet after my kids go back to their homes!
- I am announcing now, I will not be available Saturday evening - yep, college football is back!
- Something to Chew on; Every choice to follow God's leading involves sacrifice, at least the sacrifice of our own desires. ~ Chuck Swindoll

Sunday Night Reflections
A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Worshiped at First Christian Church Clearwater this morning.
- Great message on how to react when you are misjudged by others.
- Let us look to Jesus as the prime example of how to relate to others who misjudge us.
- There is only one Biblical way to react when you have been misjudged by others; PRACTICE FORGIVENESS!
- A wonderful time of worship as the team helped us connect with Jesus this morning. The A'capella element was moving to say the least!
- I always enjoy sharing the JUFL story. From the early days to today, God has been active in training men and women for ministry and other strategic vocations at JUFL.
- Received a special gift for our school's computer lab today. I am always humbled by the generosity of God's people.
- I begin teaching at Kissimmee Christian Church this coming Wednesday evening. Looking forward to diving into the lives of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!
- I was able to see all three of my children this weekend, a good time was had by all.
- Savannah and I had a wonderful time at Disney Friday. When you have your granddaughter with you, it really is the happiest place on earth.
- Mickey Mouse Ice Cream bars really hit the spot!
- I know it is only pre-season, but football is back!
- Something to Chew on; Forgiveness provides hope, joy and a bright future that nothing else can. ~ Paul J. Meyer

Sunday Night Reflections
A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- I was able to hear two good messages this weekend. One on the topic of Godly Fear and the other on the importance of trusting God and not trusting in our own self-sufficiency.
- Every time I think I hear my favorite worship song, a new week reveals a new song. It really is true, He does put a new song in our heart.
- Saw the baptismal waters stirred once again, this never gets old.
- Reflecting on friendship tonight.
- So blessed to have good friends in my life.
- God has brought so many people into my life. They truly are an encouragement to my soul.
- From last week's small group study; Peace is a result of obedience to God and assurance that He is in control.
- True peace is not only a calm exterior, but it is also a quiet heart.
- Dayton and El Paso once again remind us the world needs Jesus.
- Only 20 days to go, if you know me, you know what I am talking about!
- Disney with Savannah this week, Papa and Savannah Time! I doubt we will visit the Hall of Presidents!
- I am trying to decide if I want to try a plant-based burger! Friends tell me they are good, we will have to see.
- Please, no plant-based Oreos!
- Something to Chew on; I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea. Isaiah 48:17-18
