Sunday Nnight Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Preached at First Christian Church of Arcadia this morning.
  • The message focused on my favorite topic; Grace.
  • Key thought #1 today, we live in a world that no longer desires truth, but so desperately needs grace!
  • Key thought #2, because of God's grace, we are compelled to live faithfully in an unfaithful world.
  • I had lunch with some very good friends today, loved spending time with them.
  • I loved the gifts they brought me, cookies, bread and a special gift, a drinking cup shaped like a football. Too Funny!
  • The students are back! Let the teaching begin.
  • Why does the freshmen class look so young this year?
  • Has it really been 42 years since I was a freshman?
  • Over the next couple of months, a couple of ministers in Florida are retiring from fruitful ministries. Well done men!
  • College football is back, hey gators, how about closing down your opponent early in the 4th quarter, last night was too close for comfort.
  • To all my teacher friends, you really are making a difference!
  • Churches that lift teachers up in prayer understand the influence a teacher has on our culture.
  • Something to Chew on; My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. ~ God 2 Corinthians 12:9
