- Worshipped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
- Jim preached a message on living a life that gives glory to God.
- Key thought from the message; God's glory is God's priority!
- When my time on earth is done, this is what I want to be able to say to God when I see him face to face; I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. This is what Jesus said in John 17:4 and I think it would be great if we could say that as well.
- Whenever the "stuff of life" seems overwhelming this song always reminds me of the hope we have in the Lord! Yes, there will be a day!
- From this week's small group lesson; When God guides our heart we will think right, live right, and do right, but when we give in to the world's way we will think wrong, live wrong, and do wrong.
- Early morning walks + wonderful sunrises = Praises to God! Amen!
- Pets, especially dogs make life so interesting.
- We are 5 months away from Christmas, I know that seems a long time away right now, but the way this year is flying by it will be here in 3 weeks!
- I miss movie theaters!

Sunday Night Reflections
A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Wonderful day meeting with the people of First Christian Church of Cocoa Beach.
- Enjoyed meeting with this fine group of people.
- They are both generous and gracious.
- I had lunch with a wonderful couple, their story of God's providence is very encouraging.
- One of the best things about my job is the number of people I connect with each week. I can honestly say I find I am blessed by the people I meet.
- Every time I hear about someone having cancer, I am so thankful for these verses from the book of Revelation
- I cannot imagine what people do without prayer.
- July is 2/3 over, Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner.
- Sometimes you just have to watch a good cowboy movie, you know the ones where the good guys always win!
- My top 3 cowboy movies; Tombstone (I'm your huckleberry), The Searchers (Thanks dad for introducing me to this classic), and Silverado (just good cowboy fun)
- Students are making plans to return to campus over the next 30 days, it will be good to see their smiling faces once again.
- Something to Chew on; Everything in heaven and earth is yours O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore You as the one who is over all things. Wealth and honor comes from You alone, for you rule over all things. Power and might are in your hands, and at your discretion, people are made great and given strength. ~ King David, 1 Chronicles 29:11,12

Sunday Night Reflections
A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- I spent last week at a retreat with my partners on the Tennessee campus.
- After 3 months of Zoom meetings, It was great being together with face to face meetings (with the social distancing of course).
- The retreat was inspiring as well as challenging as we looked to the future of fundraising for the Unversity.
- Unfortunately, while I was away, two friends of mine passed away.
- While we may experience temporary sadness here because of their passing, it is comforting to know both men finished the race well!
- Heaven is a little fuller today!
- I was able to attend one of the funerals and was able to connect with many old friends.
- Oh, the stories we shared.
- Bill's celebration of life was a preview of what heaven will be like; a great reunion of God's people.
- I can only imagine what it will be like! (thank you for the words Mercy Me)
- I also had a couple of friends retire in the past two weeks.
- I seem to be too young to have friends who are retiring!
- If someone could invent anti-fog glasses when wearing a mask they would be rich!
- I spent a couple of days at my mom's house this weekend, question why do moms cook so much food when you are visiting?
- Something to Chew on; A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just as you are. ~ Unknown
