Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshipped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • Jim preached a message on living a life that gives glory to God.
  • Key thought from the message; God's glory is God's priority!
  • When my time on earth is done, this is what I want to be able to say to God when I see him face to face; I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. This is what Jesus said in John 17:4 and I think it would be great if we could say that as well.
  • Whenever the "stuff of life" seems overwhelming this song always reminds me of the hope we have in the Lord! Yes, there will be a day!
  • From this week's small group lesson; When God guides our heart we will think right, live right, and do right, but when we give in to the world's way we will think wrong, live wrong, and do wrong.
  • Early morning walks + wonderful sunrises = Praises to God! Amen!
  • Pets, especially dogs make life so interesting.
  • We are 5 months away from Christmas, I know that seems a long time away right now, but the way this year is flying by it will be here in 3 weeks!
  • I miss movie theaters!
  • Something to Chew on; Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak, Courage is also what takes to sit down and listen. ~ Winston Churchill.
