A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Preached at First Christian Church of Frostproof this morning.
- The message focused on fulfilling the mission of Christ by Seeking and Saving the lost.
- The key point from the morning's message is fulfilling the mission of Christ does not take special talent, resources, or a special skill. It simply takes time to stop and care for people who have a need.
- Arrived early for my visit, when you are the first person to arrive at church it makes you wonder if you got the times right, fear not, everyone showed up about 15 minutes after I arrived.
- Today I had an eighty-year-old man ask me if it was too late to go to JUFL, I think he was pulling my leg, but I told him it is never too later. Can you imagine an eighty-year-old man living in the apartments with 19-year-old students at JUFL!
- I only have 3 more church visits on my calendar for 2021. I am looking forward to taking a break from the road.
- Speaking of travel, don't look now, September is in the rearview mirror and October is the next exit!
- in my opinion, Saturdays are better with College Football!
- We are 89 days away from Christmas which means we are 69 days away from White Chocolate Oreos, O' Happy Day!
- Something to Chew on; Fear is a reaction, Courage is a decision. ~ Anonymous
