A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
- Jim preached a message focusing on the cure from fractured race relations in America.
- A very powerful message using the book of Acts as the example of how God desires us to have Racial harmony.
- Key Scriptures from today's message; Acts 6, Acts 8, Acts 10, and my personal favorite; Revelation 7.
- Oh for the day when Revelation 7:9-12 becomes a reality!
- We are studying the book "Twelve Ordinary Men" in our life group. It is amazing to see how the 12 disciples were able to step out in faith and change the world through the preaching of the gospel.
- Speaking of Life Group, we were introduced to Extreme Ironing last Friday evening. You really need to google Extreme Ironing, it is amazing what people will do to entertain themselves!
- While I enjoy the modern worship songs, I have to admit the theology in many of our hymns is truly inspiring. Today we sang "The Church is One Foundation" an old hymn packed with Biblical truth.
- These late-night college football games are really disrupting my sleep patterns.
- One of the casualties of a selfish society is bad driving habits. It is amazing how many people think they are the only ones on the road and they can do what they want when it comes to driving.
- I thought about dressing up like a politician for Halloween, but that would be TOO scary!
- Something to Chew on; Unless a man undertakes more than he can possibly do, he will never do all that he can. ~ Henry Drummond
