A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Worshiped at River Run Christian Church this morning.
- Arron had a great message from Matthew 16.
- River Run is going through a ministry change as the senior minister Dan is retiring and Arron is taking over the leadership responsibilities. More churches need to plan a ministry transition as their lead ministers face retirement.
- Our Life Group started a new study this week, Red Sea Rules. I am looking forward to seeing what God reveals to us through this study.
- It is good to be home this week. I spent the better part of the month of May traveling. I lived out of a suitcase for twenty of the last twenty-five days!
- Miss Savannah is going to church camp this week, it seemed like yesterday I was holding her in my arms and giving her back to her mother when I smelled a dirty diaper!
- We are still waiting for the Michigan grandbaby to be born!
- There are some movies you have to see in the theater, Maverick is such a movie.
- JUFL is in silent mode this month as so many are on vacation.
- Lily is missing Lori this week and so and I, just in case you are wondering Chihuahuas are NOT very good conversationalists!
- Something to Chew on; My word of the year has been Focus, to see what focus looks like read the account of the Biblical Hero Caleb today found in Joshua 14. I hope this is said of me when I turn 85!
