Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • We worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning, Jim's message focused on our most important textbook, The Bible.
  • Key Point #1, The Bible must be the compass that directs the lives of everyone, everywhere.
  • Key Point #2, The Bible is the textbook for all truth.
  • Three more baptisms today!
  • Our LIFE GROUP kicked off our study in Proverbs Friday evening with a study of Proverbs 9 and the choices we must make.
  • School is back in session this week, welcome back to Traffic Madness.
  • Praying for my school teacher friends this week, they are unsung heroes in one of the most important missions field today.
  • Speaking of mission fields currently, there are 24 missionaries or people assisting missionaries stateside who are alumni of CFBC/FCC/JUFL.
  • In the Chapman Center foyer, there are 38 international flags representing the countries our alumni have served in our 48-year history, CFBC/FCC/JUFL has had and will continue to have a global impact.
  • We traveled to Jacksonville this weekend to visit Mom, Good Times!
  • The first round of students move into our apartments at JUFL tomorrow. It will be great to have our students back on campus.
  • Something to Chew on; When you are too embarrassed to ask for help, that's a little knock at your door saying you are insecure. ~ Jocko Willink, Extreme Ownership
