Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • I preached at First Christian Church of Bartow this morning on my favorite subject; GRACE!
  • FCC Bartow is a small church, but they have a wonderful spirit.
  • I met a family today who attended the same church I attended as a teenager. It truly is a small world when it comes to people in the Christian Church.
  • The trustees of Johnson University have chosen Dr. Daniel Overdorf as the University's eighth president. I regret I will not be able to serve with him. He is a godly leader and a very gracious man.
  • Opportunities are sometimes disguised as challenges.
  • Thanksgiving is less than 5 weeks away.
  • Do you call it "Staffing" or "Dressing?"
  • With Amazon and Online shopping, does anyone participate in Black Friday anymore?
  • I am currently reading "The 16 Undeniable Laws of  Communication" by John Maxwell. While much of the information is familiar, it is a good book to have all the "Laws" in one place.
  • Several of my friends are going through some serious health concerns this is a constant reminder of how prayer is a  vital part of our life.
  • Something to Chew on; We are either in the process of resisting God's truth or in the process of being shaped and molded by His truth. ~ Charles Stanley
