Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • We had a great day at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning, Jim continued his series on Momentum; the Church unstoppable.
  • Jim's message was a great reminder why evangelism is so important, we are part of the church, because Peter was faithful to follow God's commands regarding reaching out to Cornelius in Acts 10.
  • We witnessed a young man accept the call of salvation and witnessed his baptism.
  • We said goodbye to the students headed to Johnson University this week to begin their classes.
  • Excited for the this group of young people.
  • However it was bittersweet, for it was a reminder JUFL is closed.
  • I will miss the excitement of upperclassman returning and freshman discovering their new normal.
  •  Bacon is an essential oil? You had to be at worship this morning to find our!
  • Our Life group started back up Friday evening, we introduced a new study, Traveling Light, the Promise of Psalm 23.
  • A dear friend of mine has received a serious health diagnosis in recent weeks.
  • While sadden by hearing the news, I know there will be a day when there will be no more sickness, no more pain, and no more fear, only rest in our Father's arms!
  • Something to Chew on; The best adventures often begin with a single step outside the comfort zone. ~ Anonymous
