Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Preached at Englewood Christian Church, Jacksonville this morning.
  • Great time seeing many old friends.
  • Thank you Nathan and the team for leading us in worship this morning. Very inspiring.
  • One key thought from today's message is how God is always waiting for sinners to come home!
  • Indeed God is patient, but we we never presume his patience will last forever.
  • I don't think good sound teams get enough credit - they are only noticed when things go wrong. No problems today - fantastic sound team - Thank you!
  • Another wedding this past weekend - I love seeing the expression on the grooms's face when he sees his bride come down the aisle.
  • Football is getting closer!
  • This summer I have traveled over 2100 miles for JUFL - lots of time looking through a windshield!
  • How can it rain cats and dogs just 3 miles from my house and yet we not get a drop of rain at our home - Must be Florida!
  • Another cancer treatment tomorrow - praying for the strongest woman I know!
  • Over 200 kids provided numerous hours of service at JUFL Thursday - we really appreciated their help!
  • Something to Chew on; “Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.” ~ Micah 7:18-19
