Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Wonderful time worshiping with the First Christian Church of Kissimmee family today.
  • Powerful message by Dave Peters; timely message for our times.
  • It is easy to see why so many students value his classes.
  • Is it just me or after you watch the nightly news you realize the world REALLY needs Jesus.
  • Sonlife magazine is hitting mailboxes this week, so good to receive such a positive reception from our readers.
  • Next week I head to Ocala to preach to a great group of friends.
  • Checked my stat tracker on my blog today and noticed I had 160 page views on July 22.  Crazy!
  • Cancer still stinks!
  • One more month and then it all begins in earnest - yes football is ALMOST back!
  • I am amazed what the networks offer as entertainment these days. Creativity has given way to crassness.
  • NBA player announces his family will face some difficulties with a salary of only 6.8 million this year. I wonder if he has ever thought about using coupons? #unreal life!
  • Next week the month of August begins - stay calm, the year is flying by.
  • Something to Chew on;  The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things. ~ Ronald Reagan
