Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at First Christian Church Kissimmee today.
  • Powerful message from Jim today.
  • Hey church it is time to break the huddle!
  • So glad to a part of a church with a bias for action.
  • Jim is correct, too many churches are hearing the sound of the death rattle.
  • What a frighting quote from this morning's message; A warring world is the price we pay for a divided church.
  • Two weeks of class are in the books at JUFL. Still amazed at how young the the class of 2019 looks today.
  • Leading Timothy Club for a third straight year, I really enjoy leading this group of young men in the art of preaching.
  • Oh Yeah, football is back!
  • I thought August was the hot month - September has been brutal!
  • Had a good friend celebrate his 70th birthday this week, I not sure what puzzled me the most, I have friend celebrating his 70th birthday or my friend is 70, time is flying by!
  • Something to Chew On; “Let every man abide in the calling wherein he is called and his work will be as sacred as the work of the ministry. It is not what a man does that determines whether his work is sacred or secular, it is why he does it.” ~ A.W. TozerThe Pursuit of God
