Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Preached at Vero Christian Church this morning on the topic of stewardship.
  • It has been a long time since I have preached a sermon on giving of your time, talent and resources.
  • From today's message, Stewardship is not about cold numbers but a warm heart.
  • Key idea from today's message; Stewardship begins with the attitude of the heart, not the size of the wallet.
  • I really enjoyed my time at VCC, this church really has a love for JUFL and Ministry!
  • Enjoyed a great lunch on the oceanfront, thank you Scott and Peggy, gotta love the Florida lifestyle!
  • Driving across Florida in the early morning is so peaceful.
  • You never know who is going to be in your audience when you preach, this morning good friends Roger and Linda from Ocala surprised me.
  • Attended a funeral of beloved minister on Saturday, his funeral was a testimony of faithfulness. I am sure he has heard the words, "Well Done Good and FAITHFUL servant!"
  • Cancer treat number 5 is tomorrow This makes 11 of the 12 treatments - hopefully the end is near.
  • Dinner with our small group is always enjoyable, you really learn a lot about people when you share a meal. Oh BTW, we all love dessert!
  • Something to Chew on; Stewardship is utilizing God given abilities to manage God given resources to accomplish God given results. ~ From today's message
