Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
  • Preached at Fort Caroline Christian Church in Jacksonville this morning.
  • Message focused on being recognized by God.
  • God's people are know by the amount of grace is in their life.
  • Saw the baptismal waters stir once again - you know that never gets old!
  • Great worship by a worship leader who was in tune to his surroundings.
  • The church recognized their High School Seniors during worship this morning, how can I have graduated from HS 40 years ago? Don't Blink!
  • I am closing in on 95,000 miles on the school car, oh the places I have been in that little Fusion! Only one time has it been out of Florida!
  • If you are in Orange Park sometime, you have to stop and have lunch or dinner at the "Shrimp Shack" It is a hole in the wall, but it sure is good.
  • My daughter in law is heading back to school this week to prepare her classroom for the kids who will return next week, why do we rob our kids of summer?
  • Our athletes return to campus this Saturday for preseason training, yep, summer is just about over.
  • I might be getting a little giddy, but football begins in about 30 days!
  • I am already tired of the political ads!
  • So thankful my iPhone allows me to block robo calls!
  • Busyness does not help, it still hurts.
  • This week the external thermometer on my car registered 104, now that is hot!
  • Something to Chew on; Teach me how to know death and go with life. Teach me how to love life and not fear death. ~ Judith Viorst
