Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning. Roland Howard brought a timely message on "Trusting God."
  • Amazing to think about all the things we put our trust in that eventually fade away.
  • To trust in God gives one a sense of security as well as leads us to have a generous spirit.
  • Josh, you may have considered your team this morning as the "B Team" but your team did a wonderful job leading us in worship today.
  • Watching High School students sing about Jesus warms my heart! I was reminded once again why I loved youth ministry so much!
  • Attending the North American Christian Convention this week, looking forward to reconnecting with several longtime friends.
  • I will be hanging out at the Johnson University booth Tuesday and Wednesday if you are at the convention be sure to drop by.
  • Lunch with wonderful friends today, really enjoyed the visit.
  • Why do popcorn and drink at the theater cost more than a movie ticket today?
  • Started a new John Gresham book this week, Sometimes you just need to read for the pure enjoyment of reading!
  • As of next Saturday, half the year is over, how ya doing on those New Years resolutions?
  • The Florida Gators' Baseball Team learned the hard way the loser's bracket is a tough way to win a second championship.
  • Something to Chew on;  A word of encouragement from a teacher to a student can change a life. A word of encouragement from a spouse can save a marriage. A word of encouragement from a leader can inspire a person to reach his/her potential. ~ John Maxwell
