Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Preached at First Christian Church Orange Park this weekend.
  • A message from the life of Zacchaeus.
  • The account of Zacchaeus is more than a children's story, his story defines the purpose of Jesus to Seek and Save the Lost!
  • Attended the North American Chrisitan Convention in Indianapolis this past week, so good to catch up with several older alumni.
  • How can some of my former classmates talk about retirement?
  • Once again I am a homeowner!
  • Time to start watching HGTV!
  • One thing I have learned about grief - regardless how much time has passed since you lost a loved one, grief always has a way of sneaking up on you.
  • Favorite grief quote; Grief is the price we pay for loving other people.
  • Best Buy is stopping the sale of CD's, I guess my 8-tracks are obsolete as well!
  • So sorry to hear the band third day will no longer perform after their last tour. You can read the announcement here.
  • Happy B-Day America, we may have our faults, but I would not want to live anywhere else.
  • Oh BTW, only one more month until football season is upon us!
  • Something to Chew on; May we think of freedom, not as the right to do as we please, but as the opportunity to do what is right. ~ Peter Marshall
