Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Preached at First Christian Church Cocoa Beach this morning.
  • Message from Luke 19, the story of Zaccheus and how one man can impact an entire community.
  • An encounter with Christ always involves transformation.
  • One of the privileges of preaching in different churches is the connections I make with different people.
  • Today I met a retired missionary, she was so gracious with her comments.
  • Met a wonderful prayer warrior today! His prayer life is contagious.
  • I am not traveling for the next few weeks, can I get a hallelujah!
  • Received word yesterday a childhood friend passed away. Looking forward to the day death is no more!
  • Buying a new home can be enjoyable, packing for a move, not so much.
  • It is not until you pack for a move that you realize you have too much stuff!
  • So thankful for the decorating advice I have received, left up to me it would be pictures of a velvet Elvis and dogs playing poker.
  • The new buildings at JUFL are almost complete, the Commons is going to really enhance our college experience.
  • Here are the ingredients for my Fourth of July celebration; Taco Salad, Killer Ice Cream Dessert, and 3 firework shows. What a wonderful evening.
  • I believe the ultimate comfort food has to be biscuits and sausage gravy, it just hits the spot.
  • Something to Chew on; Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me. ~ Carol Burnett
