Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • Message from 2 Samuel 23 about an obscure mighty man of David, Shammah.
  • While Shammah's act only covers two verses of scripture his actions are worth emulating.
  • From today's message; the gospel is not simply something one receives, but is something you must give away.
  • If we want to make a difference for Christ, we must be available to answer His call.
  • Really appreciated the worship team this morning, they did a wonderful job today.
  • The calendar changes and just like that; Football is back! O Happy Day!
  • Favorite football snack this week - Nachos!
  • Peyton and Brad's new commercials are a hoot. I wish I was in their band!
  • Ran into former members of our my student ministry from 20years ago today, So good to hear they are doing so well.
  • This week I was reminded once how life can change in a matter of days.
  • While at times this world brings pain and sorrow, let's remember "there will be a day when there is no more sickness or sorrow!"
  • Too often we live in the future thinking about what we are going to do, instead of living in the present. Choose the present!
  • Something to Chew on; Don't walk through life just playing football. Don't walk through life just being an athlete. Athletics will fade. Character and integrity and really making an impact on someone's life, that is the ultimate vision, that is the ultimate goal. ~ Ray Lewis
