Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • The message came for the small Old Testament book of Haggai.
  • Key thought from the message; The true measure of a gift is what you had to give up in order to give it ~ Mark Batterson
  • Watched a church do something pretty incredible this week. When I say it was incredible, it caused me to wonder why is it not normal for the church today? After all, we are commanded by God's word to do what He asks!
  • When we take God at His word we begin to see our lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • Saturday was our annual family Christmas party in Jacksonville, there were 44 of us in attendance. So blessed to be a part of a large family.
  • And just like that, the college football season is over. Well, at least there are a few bowl games to feast on!
  • It will not be long, we will be filling out our brackets for March Madness!
  • All I want for Christmas is a good parking space at the mall.
  • It is hard to get in the Christmas spirit when the temps are in the 80's in December.
  • Something to Chew on; Those who are the happiest are those who do the most for others. ~ Booker T. Washington
