Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Great day of worship this morning.
  • Memorial Day serves as a reminder of the cost of freedom.
  • So thankful for the men and women who chose to serve in the armed forces.
  • Heard a wonderful version of the Star Spangled Banner this morning. This version should be performed at every sporting event.
  • While the world manufactures monuments of stone, God has set aside a greater memorial for the Christian; the Lord's Supper. So simple, but so profound.
  • From this week's devotion; every man has two tasks when it comes to their heart;1. Guard your heart. 2. Give your heart! Which one is most difficult for you?
  • It is official, I am an empty nester, my last child moved to the Florida gulf coast this past week.
  • It is just me and the pup now.
  • Not sure if you noticed, we are less than 100 days from the start of the college football season.
  • Have you hugged your A/C repairman? It looks like it is going to be a scorcher this Summer!
  • Speaking of Summer, teachers thank you for your work this past year, your job is tougher than most people realize!
  • Something to Chew on; When you forgive, you in no way change the past - but you sure do change the future. ~ Bernard Meltzer
