Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • Message from Luke 12 regarding the importance of stewardship.
  • Key thought from the message, money is not evil, nor good, but how it is used determines it's value.
  • I want to be a faithful steward of what God has given me.
  • I am enjoying teaching on Wednesday nights at Kissimmee C.C.
  • We have spent three weeks studying Genesis 12 and 13. So much material to cover.
  • Looks like the Hurricane will remind us once again we really do not have control much in this life.
  • Prayer request; please pray for the students of JUFL. They have had only 1 week of classes under their belt and now the Hurricane has canceled classes this week. Pray for the freshmen that they will not lose heart and they will return after the storm is over.
  • Second prayer request, pray the campus will have minimal damage from the storm.
  • As the hurricane slows down, we must be careful not to let complacency set in.
  • Oreos are the perfect snack cookie, but when it comes to Hurricane snacks, Oreos must be "Double Suff"
  • A couple of football games have surprised me this past weekend. I guess that is why you have to PLAY the game! You simply cannot "mail it in."
  • Today is Sept. 1, in four months it will be 2020. Hard to image Y2K was 20 years ago!
  • Something to Chew on; You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God and Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth. You stiled the roaring seas and the roaring of the waves. ~ David, The Shepherd King from Psalm 65
