- Commitment Sunday at FCC Kissimmee today, so exciting to watch people bring their commitments and offering to the front of the auditorium this morning.
- Hoping for a transformed community through what happened today!
- Attended the Annual Men's Retreat at Lake Aurora Christian Camp this past weekend, my first impression upon arriving on the camp property was how much has changed over the last few years. So grateful for the leadership at the camp - Vision makes a difference.
- Arron Chambers did a wonderful job challenging the men to literally "Man Up"
- Arron was not afraid to step on toes and get real with the men at the retreat - obviously he learned that skill from his dad.
- When I looked over the crowd of 225 + men I was inspired by the number of Alumni of JUFL making a difference in churches around the state of Florida - May the Zeal Never Cease!
- I wonder if the the founders of the college knew just how much God would bless their efforts - Vision matters!
- Daylight Savings Time - longer days, better weather, Spring is here!
- Had a great visit with a really good friend while at the retreat, so good to have some time to talk about life - thanks Dave!
- If you have not heard JUFL made a fantastic announcement last Monday morning, you can read about it here.
- Spring Training Games across the street from JUFL, hard to stay at the office during this time of the year!
- March Madness is just around the corner! Can Kentucky go all the way?

Sunday Night Reflections
A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Wonderful day of worship at FCC Kissimmee today.
- Jim continued his series on Transformed, great challenge from God's word.
- Key thought - we all have a Sanballet in our life, and we have to deal with them!
- Amazed by the generosity of the leaders of FCC Kissimmee, they are diffidently leading out front!
- I heard from FCC of Sun City Center (i preached at their revival last week) this week regarding their revival - they had an offering goal of $1,000 for a battered women's shelter - they raised $4,500. God's people are generous!
- Spent the weekend working on our family's taxes - after crunching all the numbers, I am leaning toward a flat tax system.
- I am so thankful to be a part of a small group, we meet each Friday evening, and I really look forward to meeting each week - Thank you Doyle and Diane for being such gracious hosts!
- This week there has been a few comments about CFBC on FACEBOOK that remind me how special that time was in the lives of many of my friends.
- Time to Spring forward next week, looking forward to longer daylight!
- Shocked at how much a minor auto repair can be today! YIKES
- With all the bad weather up north this past winter, I wonder if Florida will have a record breaking spring break season?
- Has there ever been so much talk about the color of a dress as there was this week - Really does it matter?
- Something to Chew on: Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money is can be caught, but they need your hearts to love them, so spread your love where =ever you go. ~ Mother Teresa

Sunday Night Reflections
A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Preached at First Christian Church of Sun City Center today for the start of their revival.
- Great spirit in the church.
- Traditional worship done extremely well.
- Today's message came from the book of Haggai. It is time to "Consider our Ways!"
- We have but one job - Trying to make Heaven a little more fuller!
- Although few churches hold revivals today, the people of the church were very receptive.
- Looking forward to hearing some great things in the coming weeks as a result of their revival.
- Over the course of the last 5 weeks I have preached at 2 Faith Promises, Attended 1 Global Mission Weekend and Preached at a revival. Lots of travel but it has been rewarding.
- Well it looks like we have survived the "Florida Winter".
- I do feel sorry for my friends up north, this year has been extremely brutal.
- No one is talking about global warming lately.
- Spent three days last week at a conference in Orlando, learning more information then my brain can handle.
- How can February almost be over?
- Looks like the Gators will not be going to the big dance this year.
- Daylight savings time is just around the corner, This is the time we Spring forward, losing an hour - UGH!
- Hearing about all of the wedding engagements at JUFL makes me wonder - Who is next?
- College students and marriage - is a great example of Living on Love!
- Am I the only one who has never heard of some of the movies at the Oscars?
- Something to Chew on; Times and conditions change so rapidly we must keep our aim constantly focused on the future. ~ Walt Disney

Sunday Night Reflections
A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Worshiped at Generations Christian Church this weekend. great church doing some amazing things reaching their community for Christ.
- Loved meeting with other mission organizations, God is moving in a variety of ways - really exciting to hear what is happening through missions.
- Great thought today, Jesus has not asked us to stop going, his great commission is still our great mission!
- I am becoming convinced the key to a growing church is how involved the church is involved in missions. No missions, no passion for ministry, it is that simple!
- Got a "Buy One Get One" movie ticket for seniors tonight, that means we picked up two tickets for $9.50, I am embracing the age of maturity!
- Watching SNL celebrate 40 years reminds me the show was funny once.
- I am loving these winter days in Florida, to all my friends up north come on down!
- Looking forward to a great conference this week, hoping to reconnect with some VERY good friends as well.
- Dropbox is an amazing tool, thank you Lauren!
- Mrs. Hannah, makes wonderful cupcakes!
- Something to Chew on; The spirit of Christ is the spirit of missions, the nearer we get to Him, the more intensely missionary we become. ~ Henry Martyn

Sunday Night Reflections
A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Preached at the Christian Church of Deleon Springs today for their annual Faith Promise today. Great time with some very gracious people.
- Having people pray over you before you preach is both humbling as well as empowering.
- Met a missionary from Thailand today who began her work in 1970 - Amazing lady of faith and perseverance!
- When we give to missions, we have the opportunity make Heaven a little fuller and Hell more empty.
- Key thought from the message - Counting the Cost, what is the true cost of not giving to missions?
- Every week we have an opportunity to not just talk about missions but to invest in missions.
- I am curious, what are you investing in today?
- Monday and Tuesday were incredible days as JUFL hosted the Next Gen Preacher Search - hearing the 19 young preachers proclaiming the message was absolutely thrilling.
- For people who wonder if preaching is going away the answer is NO! I truly believe we are seeing a resurgence in preaching!
- So thankful for several folks at JUFL who made next gen happen - servants through and through!
- So glad JUFL celebrates preaching.
- Jeff Walling hit it out of the park in chapel Tuesday, here is the link
- Spent 2 days in Savannah Georgia this week as well, here how church leaders can take their church to the next level. Very inspiring!
- Do you have a vision for the church you serve?
- Attended a funeral of a dear preacher Saturday, it was truly humbling to hear about the impact of his ministry through the years. The amazing part of the funeral was his wife gave the eulogy.
- I can honestly say the last seven days have been the most exhilarating week I have experienced in a very long time.
- Over 700 teens visited JUFL this weekend for impact. I am sure there were some future SUNS in the crowd!
- Something to Chew on; No preacher, regardless where he serves is free to reinvent preaching. ~ Steven J. Lawson, The Kind of Preaching God Blesses

Sunday Night Relections
A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Wonderful day of worship at FCC Kissimmee.
- The church is getting ready to do some amazing things through the 20/20 Vision campaign.
- February is Missions Month at FCCK, I love the theme verse for the month, Isaiah 45:22
- Jim Tune from Canada had a great message today. It is staggering to think how much mission work is needed in Canada.
- Fact from this morning's message, you can literally touch the world through the mission work of Canada.
- Fun Day at the Mouse House yesterday with our granddaughter - she can wear you out!
- Big Week at JUFL, Next Gen Preacher Search taking place on our campus.Looking forward to hearing these young preachers bring the word.
- Looking forward to the Super Bowl commercials tonight, after all at 4.5 million dollars for a 30 second spot they should be great!
- Just in case you are wondering that is 150,000 a second!
- Fearless pick for tonight's game, Pats by 3 deflated footballs! Sorry, I could not resist!
- When will the Dolphins return to the Super Bowl?
- After tonight - football takes a hiatus, September is a long way away.
- Something to Chew on; People may hear your words, but they feel your attitude. ~ John Maxwell.

Sunday Night Reflections
A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...
- Worshiped at First Christian Church of Babson Park this morning.
- I had the privilege to speak for their Faith Promise Rally.
- This small church has surpassed their mission goal every year for the past 6 years!
- So thankful for their commitment to missions!
- Today's message focused on the NEED and the ALTERNATIVE to missions. Believe me there is much at stake if we do not feel compelled to give to missions.
- Remember missions is not always taking the gospel overseas, but it always involves taking the gospel to someone!
- The world tries to offer hope (a false hope), but the church provides faith!
- I am curious how low gas prices can go? I am also a cynic and believe we will see them rise again, and there will be more pain at the pump.
- When I got home from my travels today I realized it is a long time 'til September - #missinthepifskin!
- Speaking of pigskin - do you believe New England's explanations?
- I am torn this year; what will be better - the game or the commercials?
- I admire our men's basketball team at JUFL, Thursday evening they were outnumbered yet they played with class! Character matters! Thank you Shane!
- Why are we already talking about the 2016 elections?
- OK, I have to share one election thought tonight; I recently read one political candidate may spend up to 1.6 billion dollars on their presidential campaign. For a job that pays $400,000 - there does not seem to be a lot of Return on Investment!
- Something to Chew on; The only thing to be rescued from this earth will be people ~ John Maxwell. Question, are you spending time with people or are you gathering things? Just a thought.
