Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshipped at Ocala Christian Church this morning.
  • Roger began a new series titled DIFFERENT, a study of 1 Peter.
  • Great message on handling trials today.
  • Key Truth #1, Remember there is always a purpose in our pain.
  • Key Truth #2, A Faith that can be tested is a faith that can be trusted.
  • Roger is a good preacher and a good friend, we have been friends for almost 30 years!
  • That kind of friendship is prized today!
  • I believe all of Florida is under some form of road construction.
  • I would love to have stock in the "Bob's Barricades" company.
  • The last couple of weeks I have led a Bible Study from the book of Philippians. Great Book!
  • I read this week that H.B.London passed away this week, in my early years of ministry his resources from Focus on the Family were invaluable to me.
  • Did I hear it right? This was the 8th weekend of college football. Say it ain't so!
  • The best thing about college football, you have to show up every weekend or your season can take a major hit when you least expect it!
  • Wait a minute, is that Fall weather coming to Florida this week!
  • While traveling to Ocala today a Billboard touted the jackpot of the lottery is now $999,000,000, imagine how many boxes of Oreos one could buy if they hit the jackpot!
  • Something to chew on; I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it means to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation. ~ The Apostle Paul, Philippians 4:12
