Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at Vero Christian Church this morning.
  • Steve preached a message on the importance of men in the church.
  • One characteristic of a growing church is a vibrant men's ministry.
  • Watching the church's baptism video was inspiring.
  • One thing about traveling at 6:00 on a Sunday morning; NO TRAFFIC!
  • I really cannot say enough about the value of a godly man when it comes to solid friendships.
  • National Bible Bowl Tournament was last on our campus, amazing how fast the students could answer their questions.
  • It was also amazing how many Tater Tots they could consume at lunchtime.
  • Channel surfing yesterday and came across the movie "Mad Monkey Kung Fu" I really miss College Football!
  • From this week's devotion; Do your commitments match your convictions? We all have convictions, but do we live daily committed to our convictions?
  • Something to Chew on; The first thing in all progress is to leave something behind. ~ George MacDonald
