Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • I preached at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • One message preached three times, My hat is off to all of my preacher friends who preach 3 or more times on Sunday. I am exhausted!
  • Today's message, a glimpse of the holy.
  • Key thought this morning, Are you making space for God in your worship?
  • Key thought #2, Worship is where we meet God and He meets us.
  • Tony's communion mediation regarding no need for "piped in artificial crowd noise" in Heaven was spot on. Nope, all we will hear is the sound of every tribe, people, and nation praising the One who transformed our lives.
  • I had the opportunity to see Savannah play baseball this weekend, Blessed!
  • There is nothing like cold fried chicken for dinner on a Sunday evening. So simple, but it hits the spot!
  • Our May commencement is this coming Saturday, I am so proud of the class of 2020. So many fine young men and women going into Kingdom work. Heaven will be fuller because of their work.
  • All I can say, this is one crazy college football season.
  • However, it is fun ~ every game matters!
  • The siren of Halloween candy keeps calling my name, so far I have resisted!
  • Something to Chew on; You never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone; change begins at the end of your comfort zone. ~ Roy T. Bennett
