Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning.
  • Jim preached from my favorite section of scripture regarding Christmas, Isaiah 9:6.
  • Great message on the mentoring relationship Christ has in our lives.
  • I have heard and preached many Christmas messages, but I must say I have never heard a Christmas message with an illustration that included Scooby-Doo and the Justice League.
  • I do miss preaching during the Christmas season.
  • Christmas is a constant reminder God's timing is always perfect!
  • I returned to Kissimmee Christian Church tonight to hear an outstanding concert, thank you Dirk, and your team for setting the stage for Christmas.
  • JUFL hosted our annual Night of Noel program yesterday, it was so good to see so many good friends of the University.
  • This is probably going to be a tough week for school teachers this week, hard for kids to focus with one week before Christmas break.
  • Speaking of Christmas Break, this is finals week at JUFL. Hey students, now you are going to find out "will this information be on the test?" Probably!
  • Early Birthday surprise today as my kids came over and surprised me with a visit. Good Times.
  • Something to Chew on; Courage grows in consistent obedience, courage grows in Godly hope. ~ Christmas Courage, Matthew 2:13-23
