Sunday Night Reflections

A Few Thoughts from an Amazing Day...

  • Worshiped at Kissimmee Christian Church this morning. Jim's message focused on the authority of God's word.
  • It was good to be reminded of the unique structure and message of the Word of God.
  • The Bible truly is the Road Map for life!
  • It has been great being able to attend KCC for the last few weeks.
  • All Christmas Gifts bought, now to relax the week before Christmas Day!
  • I am looking forward to our family tradition on Christmas day - fresh-baked Cinnamon Rolls. Good Times.
  • Thank you, Amazon, no searching for a parking spot at the Mall, no long lines at the cash register, and no crowded stores!
  • The fall semester is in the books at JUFL, hard to believe the school year is half over.
  • After 14 years on the radio in Jacksonville, my uncle signed off for the last time Saturday morning, congratulations Captain Vic!
  • I discover our local Publix had 12 boxes of White Chocolate Oreos. Let's just say they had 12 boxes!
  • The Miami Dolphins have won 6 games in a row. Wow!
  • Great dinner with some really good friends Friday evening, the meal was good but the conversation was the best! Thank you, Dave and Linda.
  • Here are a few of my favorite Christmas Things; Favorite Song, Joy to the World (Unspeakable Joy version), Favorite snack/treat homemade Party Crunch (Chex mix), Favorite Movie, It is a Wonderful Life. Favorite TV special, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Favorite Christmas activity, Candlelight Processional at Epcot. Favorite cookie, well, I think you know!
  • Something to Chew on; The account of Christmas is a story of incredible courage - both Christ's courage and also that of ordinary men and women who took part in His story. ~ The Blog BRAVE, ordinary people, extraordinary stories.
